“Hello, lovely humans. It probably comes as no surprise that my vision for a wedding day is to have the best people and dogs in a waterfront setting with great views and lots of energy. We're hoping that everyone makes themselves feel at home for at least one day and one night in this lovely setting to celebrate life and love with us.”

“Hi everyone, Christian here — welcome to our archipelago wedding. Some of my favourite memories of living in Sweden are memories just like this: out in nature, with friends, free-flowing conversations, beautiful views, nobody in a rush. That's the feeling we're trying to recreate on August 1st. There's a version of Sweden I'd really love to show you. And this is it.”
“We picked Djuröhäll because it's a private villa right beside the main hotel: fifty of us, all in one place, our own terrace, water at the bottom of the steps. The part we love most: rooms enough for everyone to stay the night and find each other again at breakfast.”

A long summer night with friends and close family, indoor and out.
First weekend of August in the Swedish archipelago. The whole point is celebrating together, easy and unhurried, drifting between the terrace, the long table, the dock, the dancefloor.
Up here the days are very long; the sun barely sets. But the moment it does, the air turns cold. Bring a real layer (a jacket, a fleece, a sweater) so you can stay outside as long as we will.
Semi-formal, summery. Think garden wedding, not gala.

“You won't know everyone, and that's the whole point. Introduce yourself. Grab a gin & tonic, find a stranger, and stay long enough that we actually get proper time with you.”
